Eligibility:
To be eligible to register with us to begin your MACTE Certification an applicant must:
- Hold a current BA degree or higher from an accredited university (transcripts must be sent from university).
- Send three (3) letters of professional recommendation (one from supervisor, if applicable).
- Submit personal essay about interest in program.
- Ability to practice with Montessori materials throughout the program.
During the application process you will be asked to:
- Fill out Montessori Live online application.
- Pay the $50.00 application fee (non-refundable)
- Submit copies of two current photo Ids (fax or mail)
- Submit any copies of other Montessori certificates
Requirements:
To become MACTE Certified through Montessori Live and educator must complete our entire Program of Study outlined below. For a complete description of the Program of Study click here.

- Fractions and Decimals
- Decimals and Algebra
- Big Picture of the Universe
- Earth and Human History
Practica (one semester)
