The Montessori Live Curriculum Online Video Presentation Library was made possible through two grants from the Florida Department of Education for the Dissemination of Best Practice in Charter Schools. The main purpose of the video library is to provide an online collection of Montessori curriculum, philosophy, and classroom management presentations for ongoing educator support. The library has similar content to our training courses, but can be accessed independently from our formal program of study 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. The library is a video-based Montessori lesson album, organized by skill and topic, and follows a commonly accepted Montessori scope and sequence. The library can be accessed either by monthly or annual subscription. Subscriptions fees help pay for Web management expenses. Library access is free for students actively enrolled in training courses. The library also has examples of curriculum masters, lesson plans, and school administration forms. Understanding that no two Montessori schools are exactly the same, we have simply provided a point of departure so that new teachers and administrators have support throughout the year when they need it most. We hope that you find the library useful to provide continuing professional development at your own pace and schedule. Good luck as a Montessori educator. Your students are lucky to have you! Organization The category pages contain a brief overview of the curriculum category and each sub-section. Each subsection is organized with the lesson title and thumbnail image of the presentation followed by description and link to the video itself. Clicking on the link brings up the video to view. The videos are in Apple's QuickTime format (see "Software Requirements" to the left). Below is a sample of the library.
